PORTUGUESE AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

PORTUGUÊS XXI, a three-level Portuguese language course, which aims to learn the Portuguese language, in an active and participative way, presenting a great concern for the development of the student's comprehension and oral expression, stimulating the debate and the exchange of opinion, without forgetting the importance of comprehension and written expression.

At the end of the course, the student will not only get to know many aspects related to Portuguese cultural and social life, but also to understand different types of press texts; present their views and defend opinions; intervene in communicative exchanges proper to social relations; understand advertising brochures; to understand oral communications, experiences, interviews and dialogues; intervene in conversations on current issues, expressing opinions and feelings; understand and elaborate different types of written texts.

The course, which clearly respects the recommendations of the CEFR, follows a progressive and functional programme of activities designed to develop different linguistic, communicative and phonetic skills.
